The executive dismissed this afternoon the police chief, Major General Rafael Guillermo Guzmán Fermín and the Armed Forces Minister, Lieutenant General Pedro Rafael Pena Antonio. 
Through Decree 446-10 was appointed Major-General José Joaquín Virgilio Pérez Happy as Armed Forces Minister in place of Antonio Peña. Happy Perez held the post of Chief of Staff of the Army, as hereinafter will occupy Brigadier General Carlos Rivera Portes.
While the decree 445-10 was appointed General José Polanco Gómez as National Police chief, replacing Guzman Fermin, who became the executive adviser to police.
the time of his appointment Polanco Gomez held the position of Director of Criminal Investigations Department of the institution, and formerly director of criminal intelligence.
Also in the decree 446-10 Brigadier General Israel Aníbal Díaz Peña was promoted to major general and appointed chief of staff of the Dominican Air Force to replace Carlos Altuna Tezanos, who became inspector general of the Forces ; military. Altuna Tezanos
is replacing Maj. Gen. Hernan Disla Gonzalez since retired for length of service.
In the same decree he was appointed Brigadier General Pedro Rene Valenzuela Quiroz deputy chief of the ADF and Brigadier General Ulysses inspector Cedano Santana as the Dominican Air Force, to replace General Manuel Antonio Núñez García.
was also appointed the general's Freedom Pons Peguero Rosanna as Director of Intelligence of the Dominican Air Force to replace General Luis de Jesus Peña Jiménez.
